We’re glad to confirm what many of you already knew informally: Adams Industries is a participating contractor for Solution 2 of the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance Program.

This isn’t a new thing we’re doing. It’s the paperwork finally catching up to the work we’ve been doing for two decades — licensed Louisiana residential construction with documented scopes, insurance coordination, and a schedule that actually holds.

What this means if you’re a homeowner

If your home qualifies for the Restore Louisiana Homeowner Assistance Program and you’ve chosen Solution 2 (or are still deciding), you can pick Adams Industries directly.

Specifically:

  • We’re a Louisiana-licensed general contractor, verifiable through the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors.
  • We carry general liability and workers’ compensation insurance; certificates are on file and available on request.
  • We maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
  • We’ve done residential work — new construction, additions, and post-storm rebuilds — across Louisiana for over twenty years.

The program will verify our credentials the same way we publish them. That’s how Solution 2 is designed to work.

What we commit to

For every Solution 2 project we take on:

  • Free initial site walk and review of your ECR against the actual damage
  • Written Project Plan with a scope tied line-by-line to the ECR
  • Five-draw schedule structured so payment tracks actual completion, not front-loaded
  • No advance payments (the program doesn’t allow them and we wouldn’t ask)
  • Written change orders for anything outside the original scope, with program pre-approval where required
  • Regular progress documentation you can actually see
  • Final walk-through with you before sign-off
  • A phone number that still works after the project closes

How to get started

If you have an award letter or ECR in hand, call us at (985) 255-2435. We’ll set a time to walk the property, review the ECR against current site conditions, and draft a Project Plan for your review.

If you don’t have an award letter yet — if you’ve filed the survey but the application is still moving through the program — we can still help you think about what a Project Plan would look like, so when your grant is executed you’re ready to move.

We look forward to getting Louisiana homes back.
